So we recruited them to spend a few days traveling around INB’s expanded territory, to help us gain some big-picture insights into the area we serve and the businesses we bank.

Located in majestic North Idaho, this icon had unexpectedly closed it's doors in the summer of 2017. Not long after, former Seattle Supersonic and a frequent patron to the popular destination decided to buy it himself.

Time stands still when here. Located on the sandy beach of pristine Priest Lake, it is surrounded by the Selkirk mountains, and hosts 11,000 square feet of restaurant and gathering space along with 7 luxury vacation rental units.

Long known for its beauty, skiing, and lake life, Sandpoint is now a business destination. The Grooming Network is one such group, focusing on manufacturing straight razors, blades, and other grooming products.

Several years ago its founders were operating a tech company in Seattle. Burnt out and tired of the grind, they sold their former business, relocated to North Idaho, and started their new-found company catering to the straight razor subculture.

The Great PNW

Spokane, WA

The Great PNW was started by local artists that wanted to create a unique Northwest brand celebrating nature and lifestyle. They hustled, designed, printed, and sold to the masses. Their hats and shirts are now seen everywhere.

The brand has seen unbelievable growth and they have quickly outgrown their hidden side store on North Monroe in Spokane. They have plans to build their own facility and embark on the next chapter in their journey.

Time Out Pizza

Ephrata, WA

In many ways, Time Out Pizza feels more like a sports memorabilia museum than a restaurant. In addition to collectibles from the sports world, this local favorite showcases arcade games, taps from regional breweries and of course, pizza.

Over the past 20 years, the area’s diehard fans have adopted this one-of-a-kind community hotspot as their preferred destination for reminiscing about the past while watching a game.

Thaemert Farms

Quincy, WA

In the heart of Washington agricultural country is Thaemert Farms. Founded in 1962, this family run business is now one of the largest contributors to Frito Lay Potato Chips.

All potatoes are harvested, barrel washed, and graded for quality. At peak speed, their process is capable of producing nearly 3000 pounds a minute. Watch the video for a unique look into the fry lab where each batch is tested to ensure it is ready for distribution.

Sealock Mint Farm

Toppenish, WA

The Yakima Valley is home to world famous hops, soft fruit, and maybe less known to some - mint. The fertile ground is nourished by a strong water supply fed by the Yakima River that flows down through the hills.

Founded in 1978, the farm harvests the plants from which mint oil is extracted for distribution. This oil is the basis for refreshing flavors in everything from toothpaste and mouthwash to your favorite candies to tinctures and lotions.
